In the summer of 2013, I was a Michigan State University graduate student pursuing a Master of Arts in Education Technology degree. The program focuses on how to thoughtfully integrate technology in education and uses the TPACK framework as its foundation. The program is built on relevant theories of learning and development to understand the doors of possibilities technology opens up in teaching and learning, to assess the most effective and efficient way to integrate technology, and to guide students to information literacy in this technology world.
This website is specifically designed to showcase the DreamIt Project, a technology based proposal for transformative learning, assigned in course CEP 800. CEP 800 focuses on the psychological perspectives of learning theories as students conceptualize how to integrate technology into their unique settings and situations to make the program relevant as it supports the work they are doing in the field of education.
The information found on this website is a proposal for how I might use the numerous psychological perspective of learning coupled with relevant use of technology within one of the English courses I teach at Cedar Springs High School in Cedar Springs, Michigan. This is a proposal and reflects my personal learning and understanding growth as a lifelong learner of education and is not intended to be read as a representation of the district, department or course. All questions, comments and suggestions should be addressed to me personally through any of the means found on the top of the page where it says "Find Me!"

The DreamIt Project is an assignment for Michigan State University's Master of Arts in Education Technology course CEP 800. The purpose of this assignment is to see how students will "intelligently integrate new technologies to help student understanding within [their] subject area in a transformational way." The ideas of this program and project are centered around TPACK.
